This industry is drowning in invented case studies. Here's our rule: nothing goes on this page unless we can show you the data behind it. Today that means our own network and the first client result below. More will follow as engagements mature, with real numbers and the client's permission each time.

ReFigure Chiropractic: ads off, new clients up

Ad spend: $800 a month to zero

Andrew runs ReFigure, a chiropractic clinic on Sydney's Lower North Shore. He was paying about $800 a month for Google Ads to keep new-client enquiries coming. He now pays nothing for ads. Organic search brings the work in.

New clients: one a week to two

Before the search work, ReFigure signed about one new client a week. This week Andrew signed two, with the ads switched off and nothing paid to Google.

29 ChatGPT visits in two months

Elite Sand & Soil supplies landscape materials in Western Sydney. Their analytics show 29 visits referred by chatgpt.com over the past two months, typically three to five in a week. Ordinary local supplier, no tech angle, and the AI is already sending buyers.

Not clicks that were paid for

Every one of those visits is someone who asked ChatGPT a question and got pointed at the store. No ad spend involved. This is the traffic channel most businesses don't know they have, and the one AEO exists to grow.

How we know

Because we instrument it. Every client gets AI-referral tracking in their analytics, and we read it weekly. These numbers were pulled from the client's GA4 on 17 July 2026, and if anything analytics undercounts AI referrals.

Small numbers, honestly reported. The point isn't the size yet, it's that the channel is real and measurable, and early movers grow it first.

AI Advertising is a new brand from an established team. The web-design and SEO track record lives at Alien Web Design, and the ReFigure result above comes from that practice. AEO engagements are underway, and each one will publish here the same way: baseline, work done, outcome, timeframe.

If an agency shows you a case study claiming "300% more ChatGPT recommendations", ask them how they measured it. The measurement question is where most of those claims fall over. Ours won't, because measurement is the part we take most seriously.
